First Lady Priscilla Hatch
Priscilla Marie Hatch was born on June 20, 1959 in Chicago , Illinois . She is the sixth born of twelve siblings. She graduated from Proviso East High School in 1978, and attended Triton College in River Grove, Illinois . In 1994-95 she attended Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois . In June of 2001, she completed a two-year degree program in one year at Northwestern Business College and graduated with high honors majoring in “Office Technology.” She also received the Secretary of the Year Award (SOTY) in April of 2000. She was appointed the President of International Association of Administrative Professional (IAAP) 2000-2002 of Northwest Chapter of Chicago, Illinois. In May of 2013 she graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree majoring in “Organizational Leadership” from Concordia University in River, Forest, Illinois. In December of 2015 she received her Certification in “Early Childhood Development” from Harold Washington College in Chicago, Illinois.
Throughout her experiences as an administrator assistant, secretary, program clerk, and receptionist, Priscilla was employed at Hines VA Hospital in Hines, Illinois for ten years, and Lakeside Veterans Administration Medical Center in Chicago for six years. She also held the position as the Assistant Director/Financial Aid Officer of the Admissions Department at Providence St. Mel School in Chicago, Illinois for six years. She is currently working at Christ the King Jesuit College Preparatory High School serving as an Office Manager and Director of Student’s Account.
As a faithful member of New Mount Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church, she currently serves as the Sunday School teacher for the pre-school students ranging from the ages of 1-5 years old and also serves as Pastor of the Children’s Church Ministry which has been in existence for eight years. She has been blessed with the anointing of God to teach two six-week courses on “Women of God Fulfilling Their Purpose in Life” and “The Lifestyle of a Christian Wife”.
She was also blessed to be the speaker of their 1st Annual Women’s Day Conference. “Empowering Women in the New Millennium” (II Timothy 2:7)in September, 2001 in which she spoke on “Christian Women Balancing Their Lives” which was a great success!
Her motto is “I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me”(Philippians 4:13).
Her goal in life is striving every day to be more and more like Jesus, which is a great challenge that can only be fulfilled by seeking his guidance daily. The challenge’s she has faced in her life has only made her stronger in the Lord.
Priscilla Hatch has been married to Rev. Dr. Marshall Hatch for 33 years and they have four lovely children Joyce, Janelle, Marshall, and Maurice and two grandsons Leon and Langston.
